What is TRE?

TRE stands for Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises. It is a simple practice that activates your body’s natural tremor reflex — the same mechanism animals use to shake off stress in the wild.

When the tremor reflex fires, it discharges built-up tension at the muscular and neurological level. No willpower. No analysis. Your nervous system does the work automatically.

No. Everything is gentle. There are chair-supported options for every movement. This practice was designed for real bodies — not athletic ones.
Never. TRE works with your body, not your story. You don’t need to revisit, recount, or relive anything. The practice is entirely body-led.
